Following the decision of the statutory congress of the OGBL to reorganize the 60 local union sections into 23 regional sections, a new section has been created in the East of Luxembourg: the Musel-Sauer section.
A first merger took place between the local union sections of Grevenmacher and Syrdall. In 2018, Echternach, Untersauer, Wasserbillig-Mertert and Niederdonven joined the new section.
The Musel-Sauer section committee includes members of the committees of each of the former local union sections.
