Much remains to be done to achieve absolute equality both in the world of work and in society. This is one of the main objectives of the OGBL. Achieving equal opportunity, creating room for manoeuvre and conditions that allow women to decide autonomously on their life plan, this is the mission of the female members of the OGBL.
The Women’s Department, OGBL Equality represents, within the union, the specific interests of active women and defends the implementation of a coherent equal opportunities policy at the level of the union and in the world of work.

Lors de cette conférence, les résultats de notre enquête Gender Mirror Survey, qui met en lumière la répartition du travail invisible et des inégalités persistantes entre femmes et hommes, seront présentés. Cette présentation sera suivie d’une table ronde réunissant des expert·e·s, afin d’ouvrir le débat sur la reconnaissance de ces réalités, leurs impacts et les pistes d’action concrètes.
Alors que les discussions autour du salaire social minimum (SSM) se poursuivent, le département des Femmes de l’OGBL souhaite attirer l’attention sur un aspect trop souvent absent du débat : l’impact disproportionné qu’une stagnation du SSM fait peser sur les femmes. Surreprésentées dans les secteurs à bas salaires comme celui du nettoyage ou du commerce, les femmes cumulent contrats précaires, horaires de travail fragmentés et temps partiels imposés. Cette précarité se poursuit également au-delà de la vie active, en condamnant ces femmes à bas revenus à finir leur vie avec une pension minimale.
