Professional Liability Insurance for the Health Professions, Social and Educational Professions and Pharmacists without a pharmacy

Among the members of the OGBL Health, Social and Educational Services Syndicate

  • employees of a health profession,
  • employees in a socio-educational profession in a hospital, a nursing home, a reception center, a day care center, etc.
  • pharmacists without a pharmacy
  • persons in training for a health profession and students in training for qualification as a social family assistant

have free professional liability insurance.

This insurance covers the pecuniary consequences of the civil liability that the insured persons may incur as a result of errors, negligence or faults committed in the exercise of their profession as salaried employees.

Damages caused during the exercise of their profession as self-employed persons remain excluded.

The guarantee (physical damage up to 5.000.000 €, material damage up to 500.000 €) only comes into effect if the insureds are holders of the diplomas and, if applicable, the authorizations required to exercise their profession in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
