{"id":16053,"date":"2023-07-20T09:01:20","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T07:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/?post_type=communiques&#038;p=16053"},"modified":"2023-07-25T11:59:58","modified_gmt":"2023-07-25T09:59:58","slug":"le-groupe-leclerc-reprend-cora-et-match-au-luxembourg","status":"publish","type":"communiques","link":"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/en\/communique\/le-groupe-leclerc-reprend-cora-et-match-au-luxembourg\/","title":{"rendered":"Leclerc Group acquires Cora and Match in Luxembourg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the recent announcement that the Carrefour group has acquired the Cora and Match banners in France and Romania, rumors have been circulating about a possible takeover of these two banners in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p>The management of Cora and Match Luxembourg have just simultaneously announced to their staff delegations that the two groups have been taken over by the French retailer Leclerc.<\/p>\n<p>The French group will take over the two Cora Foetz &amp; Concorde stores with their approximately 470 employees, the twelve Match stores, the thirteen Smatch stores and the head office in Courth\u00e9oux with a total of 720 employees.<\/p>\n<p>According to the management, the employees will be taken over under the current conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The OGBL Commerce Syndicate, which holds a majority stake in both groups, is closely monitoring developments at both banners and will do everything in its power to ensure that the jobs and working conditions of the employees concerned are maintained.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OGBL Commerce Syndicate press release,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>July 20, 2023<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":16054,"template":"","categorie_communiques":[48],"syndicat":[78],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.1 -
