{"id":1342,"date":"2012-12-21T10:57:16","date_gmt":"2012-12-21T09:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/communiques\/la-negociation-de-la-nouvelle-convention-collective-aboutit-a-des-resultats-acceptables"},"modified":"2023-06-19T10:12:13","modified_gmt":"2023-06-19T08:12:13","slug":"la-negociation-de-la-nouvelle-convention-collective-aboutit-a-des-resultats-acceptables","status":"publish","type":"communiques","link":"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/en\/communique\/la-negociation-de-la-nouvelle-convention-collective-aboutit-a-des-resultats-acceptables\/","title":{"rendered":"Acceptable results in the new collective bargaining agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-11127\" title=\"ISL\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/communiques\/ISL.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"236\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The renewal of the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) Employees\u2019 collective bargaining agreement (CBA) was signed on 20 December 2012, after six negotiation meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Under the auspices of OGBL, the trade unions OGBL and LCGB and the Human Resource Committee of the ISL Board of Governors worked round to the following results:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The 191 ISL-employees included in the CBA will benefit from:\n<ul>\n<li>a one-time payment of 950\u20ac as of the date of signature of the agreement,<\/li>\n<li>a flat monthly increase to all steps of the salary scales for the faculty members, nurses, assistants, administrative and technical staff members of 40\u20ac (between 0,53% and 1,80% increase) as of September 2013,<\/li>\n<li>a flat monthly increase to all steps of the salary scales for the faculty members, nurses, assistants, administrative and technical staff members of 25\u20ac (between 0,33% and 1,11% increase) as of September 2014,<\/li>\n<li>a simplification of the personal business day-granting procedure,<\/li>\n<li>one additional day of leave for family reasons.<\/li>\n<li>The 21 assistants will benefit of a 4 hour-increase of their weekly working hours (11,8%) and those who have achieved a qualification which includes at least two years of post-secondary study within a field of study directly related to the position will be placed on a new salary scale (between 4,05% and 8,00% increase).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The 20 administrative and technical staff members will receive lunch vouchers for one more month.<\/li>\n<li>During the School\u2019s Winter break, the 4 technical staff members will be granted collective leave.<\/li>\n<li>Twice each academic year, 45 minutes of the weekly staff meeting will be devoted to the business of the Staff Association as determined by the Staff Delegation.<\/li>\n<li>The Staff Delegation will be associated to the organization of the election of the faculty member on the board of governors and during the election a staff delegate, appointed by the staff delegation will be a member of the electoral office and participate in the ballot counting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The new agreement has a term of three years, effective 1 September 2012 until 31 August 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The negotiation took place in fair climate.
