In der Pressekonferenz vom 30. Oktober 2008 teilte der Generalsekret\u00e4r des LCGB, Marc Spautz, mit, dass der LCGB f\u00fcr die anstehenden Betriebsausschusswahlen 3.776 Kandidaten ins Rennen schickt. Das sei ein Plus von 1.450 im Vergleich zu den letzten Sozialwahlen im Jahre 2003. Damals w\u00e4re der LCGB mit 2.326 Kandidaten angetreten.
\nDer LCGB hat die Unwahrheit gesagt. Im \u201eSoziale Fortschr\u00ebtt\u201c, der Monatszeitung des LCGB, teilte der Nationalpr\u00e4sident des LCGB, Robert Weber, am 4. November 2003 folgendes mit: \u201eDer LCGB stellt bei den Delegationswahlen 3200 Kandidaten in \u00fcber 500 Betrieben\u201c. F\u00fcr 2008 sollen es nur noch 465 Betriebe sein!
\nWenn man davon ausgeht, dass die von Robert Weber genannte Zahl die richtige ist, dann hat der LCGB f\u00fcr die kommenden Sozialwahlen statt den vorget\u00e4uschten 1.450 lediglich ein Plus von 576 Kandidaten. Aus einem Plus von 62% bleiben deren 18% \u00fcbrig.
\nNicht alle Gewerkschaften pr\u00e4sentieren falsche Zahlen! Der OGBL hat ebenfalls am 30. Oktober seine Kandidatenzahlen mitgeteilt: 5.100 Kandidaten f\u00fcr die Betriebsausschusswahlen, ein Plus von 1.026 (+25%) im Vergleich zu 2003. Im OGBL-Aktuell von November\/Dezember 2003 teilte der damalige OGBL-Pr\u00e4sident John Castegnaro mit: \u201eEs waren deren 4.352, davon allein 4.074 f\u00fcr die Betriebswahlen\u201c. Und was die 5.100 Kandidaten des OGBL f\u00fcr die Wahlen 2008 anbelangt, so ist diese Zahl ebenfalls objektiv leicht \u00fcberpr\u00fcfbar: alle Kandidatenlisten und Kandidaten des OGBL sind mit oder ohne Fotos einzeln auf der Internetseite www.elsoc.lu<\/a> zu \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen!<\/p>\n

Es ist ebenfalls eine gesunde Skepsis angeraten in Bezug auf die propagandistischen Aussagen des LCGB \u00fcber einen besonderen Zuwachs in bestimmten Wirtschaftsbereichen. Im Gesundheitswesen sieht es n\u00e4mlich f\u00fcr den LCGB alles andere als gut aus: in dem drittgr\u00f6\u00dften Spital Luxemburgs, dem H\u00f4pital St. Louis Ettelbr\u00fcck, hat der LCGB seine letzten Mandate bereits jetzt an den OGBL verloren und wird erstmals \u00fcberhaupt nicht mehr vertreten sein. Dies gilt ebenfalls f\u00fcr die Zithaklinik. Und im Handel wird es bei Hifi Luxemburg, Hornbach, Markant, Adler, Aldi, Bofrost … nur OGBL-Personaldelegierte geben.<\/p>\n
