Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation des syndicats de l\u2019industrie de l\u2019OGBL constitu\u00e9e des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s \u00ab\u00a0Liberty Steel\u00a0\u00bb, Hubert Lacouture et Paul Lionti, et des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s \u00ab\u00a0Guardian\u00a0\u00bb, Gabriel Bettembourg et Vincent Collin, accompagn\u00e9s par les secr\u00e9taires centraux, Stefano Araujo et Alain Rolling, a rencontr\u00e9 Dan Biancalana, le bourgmestre de Dudelange. L\u2019entrevue a permis d\u2019aborder diff\u00e9rents sujets d\u2019actualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

L\u2019OGBL est revenu sur la situation critique de \u00ab\u00a0Liberty Steel\u00a0\u00bb. Ses salari\u00e9s sont dans l\u2019incertitude depuis quelques mois et ne savent pas si leur entreprise pourra tenir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e si aucune solution concr\u00e8te n\u2019est trouv\u00e9e jusque-l\u00e0. De l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, il \u00e9tait \u00e9galement question de l\u2019avenir du site de \u00ab\u00a0Guardian\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 Dudelange apr\u00e8s le refroidissement du four et les annonces de nouveaux investissements \u00e0 venir. Malgr\u00e9 ces derni\u00e8res, les salari\u00e9s de Guardian restent inquiets quant \u00e0 leur emploi. Les autres entreprises industrielles install\u00e9es dans la commune ont \u00e9galement fait partie des discussions.<\/p>\n

Pour l\u2019OGBL, l\u2019industrie \u00e0 Dudelange est essentielle et il faut la d\u00e9fendre puisqu\u2019elle compte des milliers d\u2019emplois directs et autant d\u2019emplois indirects (sous-traitants, prestataires, commerces, caf\u00e9s, etc.). La recherche de nouvelles activit\u00e9s industrielles et la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois font \u00e9galement partie des revendications de l\u2019OGBL pour Dudelange.<\/p>\n

Le d\u00e9put\u00e9-maire a \u00e9cout\u00e9 avec attention les repr\u00e9sentants du personnel et partage les inqui\u00e9tudes de l\u2019OGBL. Dan Biancalana a tenu \u00e0 rappeler son soutien et celui de sa commune envers tous les salari\u00e9s des entreprises de Dudelange et \u00e0 quel point l’industrie lui tient \u00e0 c\u0153ur. Finalement, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 convenu que le contact serait maintenu afin de suivre les \u00e9volutions de pr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n
