Nach langen Verhandlungen sind die Gewerkschaften und die Direktion der Garanti Bank S.A. Luxembourg Branch Ende M\u00e4rz 2017 zu einem Abkommen \u00fcber die Modalit\u00e4ten eines Sozialplans gekommen. Zur Erinnerung, die Schlie\u00dfung von Garanti Bank SA Luxembourg Branch wird am 30. Juni 2017 vollzogen werden, und die Gesamtheit ihrer Aktivit\u00e4ten wird nach Malta verschoben.
\nUnter den vierzehn betroffenen Arbeitnehmern werden elf bei der Schlie\u00dfung entlassen und zwei werden in andere europ\u00e4ischen Bereiche der Bank versetzt.
\nDie Gewerkschaften konnten f\u00fcr die entlassenen Arbeitnehmer vorteilhafte Abgangsbedingungen erreichen, wie zum Beispiel eine au\u00dfergesetzliche Abfindung, die M\u00f6glichkeit auf verl\u00e4ngerte K\u00fcndigungsfrist, eine der Familiensituation angepasste Entsch\u00e4digung sowie Gelder f\u00fcr Ausbildung und Outplacement.
