September haben OGBL und FNCTTFEL sich, bei Gelegenheit des \u201eLabor Day\u201c, dem Pendant in den USA zu unserem 1. Mai, zum amerikanischen Friedhof in Hamm begeben, um wie jedes Jahr, seit dem Ende des Zweiten Weltkrieges, den jungen amerikanischen Arbeitern zu gedenken, die als Soldaten bei der Befreiung Luxemburgs vom Nazijoch mitgeholfen haben, und das mit ihrem Leben bezahlt haben.<\/p>\n<p>Diese feierliche Zeremonie war am gleichen Tag gefolgt von einem Empfang im Gewerkschaftskasino in Bonneweg, bei dem Andr\u00e9 Roeltgen, OGBL-Pr\u00e4sident, bei seiner Rede zuerst die Verbindung hergestellt hat, zwischen den Soldaten, die im Zweiten Weltkrieg umgekommen sind und den Toten, die es in den zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Kriegen gibt. Er erinnerte dabei daran, dass die Kriege nie im Interesse der Arbeiter gef\u00fchrt werden, und dass es demnach die Pflicht der Gewerkschaften ist, sich f\u00fcr Frieden und Demokratie einzusetzen, gestern ebenso wie heute.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/communiques\/labor_Day_1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/communiques\/labor_Day_1.jpg\" alt=\"labor_Day_1\" width=\"300\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nDer OGBL-Pr\u00e4sident ist dann auf die soziopolitischen Entwicklungen zur\u00fcckgekommen, die es seit dem Beginn der Krise 2008 gegeben hat, indem er die falsche Politik anprangerte, die sie ausl\u00f6ste und die sie seitdem nur noch schlimmer machte. Sie ist heute unter anderem verantwortlich f\u00fcr den Aufschwung der rechtsextremen Bewegungen und Parteien. Andr\u00e9 Roeltgen hat in diesem Zusammenhang einen dringenden Appell an die Politiker gerichtet, damit sie einen politischen Kurswechsel einleiten.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/communiques\/labor_Day_3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ogbl.lu\/wp-content\/uploads\/communiques\/labor_Day_3.jpg\" alt=\"labor_Day_3\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>Anschlie\u00dfend hat Andr\u00e9 Roeltgen die sozio-politischen Themen bei dieser sozialen Rentr\u00e9e angeschnitten. Er hat insbesondere auf den Kaufkraftverlust hingewiesen, den die Haushalte w\u00e4hrend der gesamten Krise \u00fcber sich haben ergehen lassen m\u00fcssen, und die weitergeht w\u00e4hrend keine einzige Indextranche innerhalb der vergangenen drei Jahre ausgesch\u00fcttet wurde (durch eine zu niedrige Inflation um den Mechanismus auszul\u00f6sen, obwohl sie besteht und auf lange Dauer jetzt richtig sp\u00fcrbar ist). In diesem Zusammenhang hat der OGBL-Pr\u00e4sident einen dringenden Appell an die Regierung gerichtet, damit sie im steuerlichen Bereich eine Initiative ergreift, um diesen Kaufkraftverlust aufzufangen. Er hat ebenfalls die Regierung dazu aufgerufen, den von den Rentnern erfahrenen Verlust durch eine Rentenanpassung, die ihnen zu Gute kam und nicht ausgezahlt wurde, zu kompensieren.
