Qatar Airways hatte 35 Prozent der Aktien bei der Cargo-Airline gekauft und wurde verd\u00e4chtigt eine Mehrheitsbeteiligung anzustreben. Der OGBL hatte mobilisiert, um diese \u00dcbernahme und damit den Verlust von Tausenden von Arbeitspl\u00e4tzen zu verhindern.<\/p>\n<p>Gabriel Mocho, verantwortlicher ITF-Sekret\u00e4r f\u00fcr den Sektor Zivile Luftfahrt, erkl\u00e4rte hierzu: \u201cDieser Sieg kommt nur einige Tage nach einer vom OGBL organisierten Demo gegen diese verh\u00e4ngnisvollen Pl\u00e4ne und ist so der Beweis, dass rechtm\u00e4\u00dfe Gegenwehr sich bezahlt macht.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Weiter sagte er: \u201cWir als ITF nahmen an dieser Demo teil und brachten auf diese Weise unsere Unterst\u00fctzung mit der Kampagne zum Ausdruck, doch einzig und allein dem OGBL geb\u00fchrt die volle Anerkennung, dass er die Alarmglocke gel\u00e4utet hatte, um vor der Gefahr von Arbeitsplatzabbau und dem Abw\u00fcrgen der Demokratie und des Sozialdialogs in dieser Gesellschaft zu warnen.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Auf der Demo* vom 13. November rief Hubert Hollerich, OGBL-Zentralsekret\u00e4r f\u00fcr den Sektor Zivile Luftfahrt, den Protestierenden zu: \u201cDer OGBL wehrt sich dagegen, dass eines der wirtschaftlichen Kleinode Luxemburgs an einen Staat verscherbelt wird, der weder das Konzept von Parlament, noch von Gewerkschaften, oder gar Sozialdialog oder Demokratie kennt.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong> 19. Die ITUC arbeitet eine Kampagne gegen diese Verletzungen hinsichtlich der Fu\u00dfballweltmeisterschaft in 2022 aus, die im Katar stattfindet.
