Akpene A. Amenumey is a proactive, dynamic and results-driven professional administrator with extensive expertise encompassing general administration, occupational health and safety and project management.
She has over 10 years work experience spanning the governmental sector (Cape Coast Municipal Assembly, the non-governmental sector (Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG), the academia (University of Cape Coast) and the International Labour Organisation. (ILO).
As part of her responsibility whiles working with the International Labour Organisation she served as the liaison officer for the ILO Abuja office and ILO focal person on the UN Operations Management Committee.
Akpene holds a Masters in Gender Peace and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peace Centre.
As part of Akpene’s social responsibility to the country she served as a voluntary teacher in her Alma Mater (Archbishop Porter Girls Polytechnic).
She is currently serving as a Field Coordinator for the OGBL Trade Union Solidarity Ghana- Luxembourg Organisation where she believes she can assist provide social protection to a section of the vulnerable community in the Shai – Osudoku and Ningo Prampram District of the Greater Accra.
She is a member of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International Accra Airport Chapter and during her leisure time Akpene loves to farm.
